- New Farming Inventions in the Hemp IndustryTech is changing how hemp is grown! For instance, a company called Canadian Greenfield Technologies Corp. made a machine that turns hemp into fibers, leaves, and other parts for making different hemp products. Another company, PureHemp Technology, created a special reactor to turn hemp into various useful components. This company started by processing a small amount of hemp each day and now can handle tons of it. In 2019, Hemp
- Product Development Cost – Understanding the Cost of Product Design and Prototype DevelopmentAs part of any new product design project, it’s crucial to assess its cost before beginning development. Products often cost hundreds of thousands to create. An app with basic platform support and standard User Interface design typically costs approximately $30,000. Developing more complex software programs typically costs less, yet will still come out at about the same cost. Product Design Product design is one of the key stages in product
- How to Outsource Product DevelopmentEntrepreneurs, inventors, and business owners looking to outsource product development should select a provider specializing in their specific field. This will ensure top-quality craftsmanship and expert work is delivered. Outsourcing can be an excellent way to both cut costs and boost productivity, especially when choosing an outsourcing partner with flexible team scalability and access to an international talent pool. Cost-effectiveness Outsourcing product development can be an economical solution for companies.
- Corporate Innovation ExamplesCorporate innovation encompasses any efforts by an organization to remain innovative in order to remain competitive in its marketplace, such as developing new products, technologies and strategies for growth. Tech is changing how hemp is grown!
- There are smart systems to grow hemp and new machines to harvest it. This tech helps farmers make more hemp and spend less money doing it.
In 2019, Hemp Harvest Innovations introduced a new way to extract useful parts from hemp faster and cheaper than before. Also in 2019, Canopy Rivers invested in a company to improve hemp plants, aiming to get more from each plant. This will make hemp cream cheaper to produce and drive down prices for the consumer.
- Fuel Hemp can be turned into biofuel, a cleaner alternative to fossil fuels. It’s better for the planet than some other biofuels because it doesn’t add as much carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. Hemp biofuel can be used for electricity and running cars. A company called Extreme Biodiesel is working on growing hemp for fuel and has a mobile unit for making hemp diesel.
- Plastic Hemp can be used to make a type of plastic that’s strong and light but also better for the environment. It can be shaped and printed in 3D, and it breaks down naturally. Zeoform is a recyclable material made from hemp that can replace regular plastic or wood. Sana Packaging uses hemp plastic to make eco-friendly packaging.
- Paper It takes decades for trees to grow back after being cut for paper, but hemp plants only take four months. One acre of hemp can produce as much paper over 20 years as 4 to 10 acres of trees. Companies are making paper from hemp, which is quicker to grow and replant.
- Supercapacitors and Batteries A professor found a way to turn hemp into carbon sheets for energy storage, better than the current expensive material, graphene. This hemp version is much cheaper and could power homes and cars in the future.
- Building Materials Tech has led to hemp being used in building materials like hempcrete, which is lighter and stronger than traditional concrete and better for the environment. Hemp is also used for making wood alternatives and insulation, offering greener options for construction.
